ArtMap introduces the Easel - a multi-entity tool that lets you to paint directly onto minecraft maps with dyes.
Built for Admins ⚖
ArtMap gives you the power to manage your players, the way you want. There is an optional filter built-in for artwork titles, and you can use permission nodes to choose who is allowed to paint. If a player paints something that breaks your rules, Admins are able to delete any ArtMap artwork with commands - this will affect all copies of the map in the world. The plugin’s easy-to-navigate menu allows Admins to quickly skim through artworks, sorted by player; if anyone’s breaking your rules, you’ll be the first to know.
Survival Mode & Economy ⚔
ArtMap is built with survival multiplayer in mind. Players can craft and paint easily without any help from admins. They can make signs or billboards for their shops, or sell paintings to other players with economy plugins. Artworks can only be duplicated or copied by their author, so players control the distribution of their work.
Optimised for Performance ⚒
You're probably wondering how it performs on a server, though. The answer is, astonishingly well. ArtMap’s custom map renderer provides superior performance than the vanilla Minecraft map renderer. We use a custom netty packet interceptor and pre-generated data tables to maximise the efficiency of our painting algorithms, so your users’ raw artistic talent doesn’t hang any servers.
Get Started ✍
So what now? You probably will want to try it out for yourself. The best way to figure out what ArtMap is all about is to grab some dyes and start punching canvases.
Type /artmap in-game for all the information you need to start painting.
Compatability
Note: ArtMap is currently not compatible with MapManager or plugins using this resource.
Also: ArtMap is not compatible with PaperMC or other spigot forks.
