DESCRIPTION
FlameCord is a fork of Waterfall that fixes Netty Exploits, keeps your console clean from unnecessary messages, orders your BungeeCord modules in a simpler way and supports 1.8 and latest versions.
Netty is the API used by BungeeCord to establish connections with players.
Netty Exploits are exploits that lag the Netty threads to make the BungeeCord stop accepting connections. (ex: generating exceptions to prevent the connection from closing until timeout)
FlameCord simply fixes Netty Exploits by following this procedures:
· Completely closing connections on Exploit and removing decoder from the pipeline to prevent Bad packets leaking.
· Close on invalid request. (If a invalid request is done FlameCord closes the connection)
· Close on exception. (If a exception occurs because invalid data is sent FlameCord will close the connection)
· Limit default values to avoid reading big packets.
Simple as it sounds, this is the only procedures you need to prevent Netty Exploits.
You can test FlameCord on our test server arkflame.com:25566. We run FlameCord + [2LS] AntiBot for protection.
COMMANDS
The available commands are the following:
/flamecord reload - Reloads FlameCord files!
/flamecord firewall - Shows information about the Firewall!
/flamecord help - Shows the help message!
The permission to use this commands is flamecord.usage
INSTALLATION
Just use the .jar provided as a normal BungeeCord .jar to start up your server with FlameCord.
