My own attempt on a MLG Waterbucket (and others) training map.
Features:
- 19 Levels from falling height 20 to 380 Blocks (+20 blocks every level) in form of small platforms
- Height and other settings adjustable via controll room with various input methods (Lecterns/buttons/levers/item-frames)
- Random-Height function, that choses a random height after every jump between the 19 levels
- Tool wheel for selecting MLG items other than the waterbucket
- Self cleaning floor
- Auto Reset/Kill after successful Jump function
- Lightweit ambient weather and daytime control (without command use)
Most of the features are accessible by using levers, buttons or other redstone componens from within something i would call a control room. These redstone components are then connected to various command blocks, that are doing the logic. One of my design goals was to at least hide these command blocks a litte. You will definetly see some of them, but I think they are not killing the overall look.
I don't want to boast too mutch about the design; It's still super simple, but still a bit more effort than just throwing command blocks on the ground with a button and a sign ontop of it
